Everything’s Rosy!

Everything’s Rosy has been created by interior designer and entrepreneur, Marie Cooper in 2006. The business specialises in antique and vintage furniture restored and hand-painted in contemporary Farrow and Ball colours. In addition to this, there is a wide range of bespoke (and often hard to get) fabrics, wallcoverings and accessories for the home. Not to mention additional services such as picture framing, gifts for weddings and of course interior design.

The design for this website is an imaginative solution for a highly creative and unique business. The navigation on the home page features a range of carefully selected objects arranged on a welsh dresser. Each item works as a ‘visual metaphor’ – relating to key aspects and services provided by business. These are interactive, so when moused-over they link through to the key sections of the website. Given the broad range of items in the shop, any visitor is enticed to browse – and it was also felt that this experience was reflected on the design for Everything’s Rosy.

One of the most unique aspects of the shop is the fact that you can also pop in for tea, coffee and light refreshments. If you like the fine bone china or the antique dining furnishings you are using – you can even buy them! And I have to admit, this is one of the best photo-shoots I’ve ever been on, Marie looked after us all with plenty of fresh coffee and hot buttered toast!

A great collaboration
We were delighted that Marie chose this concept – out of all the ideas proposed, this was certainly the most imaginative. It was also great to be working with local businesses; photography by Dave Golding and website programming and hosting by MM&B studio. Thank you all for your hard work and support!
